Bills vs. Texans Week 9 Odds
HOUSTON, TX (The Spread) – The Texans will look to improve their record to 7-1 and increase their chances of securing the top spot in the AFC when they host the Bills at 1:00PM ET on Sunday.
BUFFALO: The Bills are coming off their bye but two weeks ago they were shocked at home in a 35-34 loss to the Titans. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns on 27-of-35 passing, while Fred Jackson rushed for 71 yards and C.J. Spiller added 70 yards on 12 carries. Buffalo lost in the closing minutes when Matt Hasselbeck found Nate Washington on a 15-yard touchdown pass. The loss was Buffalo’s fifth of the season and it was the third time in four weeks that the Bills failed to cover the spread. They’re now 3-4 against the number this season.
HOUSTON: The Texans are also coming off their bye but two weeks ago they crushed the Ravens 43-13 in Houston. Matt Schaub threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns while Arian Foster rushed for 98 yards on 19 carries and added two scores of his own. Houston’s defense suffocated a bad Joe Flacco, who threw for just 147 yards and two interceptions. The win lifted Houston’s record to 6-1 overall and 5-2 against the spread, although it was the first time the Texans covered the number in their last three games.
