Rams vs. Vikings Odds
The St. Louis Rams and Minnesota Vikings all look to stay in the playoff hunt when the two meet on Sunday at 1PM ET on FOX.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Minnesota is the slight favorite at home, as the Vikings are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Rams. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 40 points. Minnesota has won and covered the spread in three straight against the Rams.
Minnesota is 5-2 on the season, 6-1 against the spread and 6-1 with the under. Minnesota is coming off a 23-20 win at Chicago last week for its third straight victory. Minnesota has one of the top defenses in the league, rankings second in scoring (17.4 ppg) and seventh in total defense (334 ypg). The Minnesota offense has struggled, averaging just 21 points and 325.7 yards per game. Adrian Peterson has run for 633 yards and three touchdowns to lead the offense while Teddy Bridgewater has thrown for 1,526 yards and six touchdowns. The defense is led by Eric Kendricks, who has 42 tackles and four sacks.
St. Louis is 4-3 on the year, 4-3 against the spread and 5-2 with the under. The Rams are coming off a 27-6 win over the 49ers last week at home for their second straight win. Like Minnesota, St. Louis has a great defense and a weaker offense. The Rams are fourth in defensive scoring (17.9 ppg) and sixth in total defense (328.1 ypg) while the offense is averaging just 19.3 points and 311.6 yards per contest. Rookie RB Todd Gurley is leading the offense with 575 rushing yards and three touchdowns while Nick Foles has thrown for 1,310 yards and seven touchdowns. The defense is led by Lamarcus Joyner, who has 39 tackles and two sacks.
