Cowboys vs. Browns Pick
Will the Browns have issues slowing down the Cowboys’ offensive duo of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott on Sunday when the two teams meet at 1:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cowboys are 7.5-point road favorites versus the Browns while the over/under currently sits at 48.5 points. The side hasn’t moved off 7.5 since it opened, but the total has climbed two full points to 48.5 after it hit the board at 46.5 earlier in the week.
COWBOYS KEY TRENDS: The Cowboys continue to be backers’ best friends, covering in six straight games since losing Week 1 as a 1-point favorite against the Giants. They’re also 5-2 against the number in their last seven road games and are 4-0-1 against the number in their last five games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.
BROWNS KEY TRENDS: The Browns are 0-4 against the spread in their last four home games, including last week when they fell to the Jets as a small home underdog. They’re also just 1-8 against the number in their last nine games versus a team that owns a winning record and are winless at 0-6 ATS in their last six games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.

OUR PREDICTION: The Cowboys haven’t scored fewer than 24 points in their six-game winning streak and it’s highly unlikely that the Browns would hold them under that point total on Sunday. The question is whether or not the Browns will score enough to keep pace and they should with Josh McCown back under center. The over is 6-1 in the Browns’ last seven games overall and is 7-1 in their last eight games versus a team with a winning record. Cleveland has been competitive for about three quarters before falling off in the fourth and the Browns should contribute enough offensively to push the score over the total.
