For bettors that have backed them, Adrian Peterson and the Vikings have been highly profitable all season and will be home underdogs today in their Wild Card matchup against the Seahawks.

The Vikings went 13-3 against the spread in the regular season this year, covering at a remarkable 81.2% clip. They were also 6-2 against the number at home and 6-1 against the spread as an underdog. Despite their success at the betting window, 71% of public bettors are currently backing the Seahawks to cover the spread in today’s game.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, Minnesota is currently a 4.5-point home dog versus Seattle at 1:05PM ET today. The only time the Vikings were a home underdog this year was against these same Seahawks, who blew them out 38-7 when Minnesota was a 2.5-point dog in early December.

As for Seattle, the Hawks finished 8-7-1 against the spread and went 7-6 ATS as a favorite. As an away favorite, Russell Wilson and Co. went 3-2 against the spread, winning by an average margin of 15.0.
