The NFL Wild Card playoff odds have been released and here’s a look at how much the lines have moved over the past 24 hours.
Titans at Chiefs, 4:35 p.m. ET, Saturday
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Chiefs are currently listed anywhere between a 7.5 and 7-point favorite to beat the Titans in the first playoff game of Wild Card weekend. Kansas City opened as a 7-point favorite so there hasn’t been much line movement for this game yet. The total, meanwhile, sits at 44.5 points after opening at that same number. In the last eight games between these two teams, the road team has cashed seven times while the Titans are also 5-1 against the spread in their last six trips to Kansas City. The over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings. The Chiefs are currently the biggest public favorite in the four Wild Card games this weekend.
Bet NFL Wild Card Playoff Games
Falcons at Rams, 8:15 p.m. ET, Saturday
In the primetime matchup on Saturday, the 10-6 Falcons will visit the 11-5 Rams, who are hosting a playoff game for the first time since the 2003 Divisional Round. The Rams opened as 4.5-point home favorites to beat the Falcons this weekend but the line has already climbed a full point to 5.5. As for the total, the number hit the board at 49.5 but has dropped slightly to 49. The favorite is an impressive 13-3 against the spread in the last 16 meetings between these two teams but the Falcons are 5-2 against the number in their last seven games versus the Rams. The over, meanwhile, is 16-5 in the last 21 series meetings between these two teams and is 5-2 in the last seven games that the Rams are the host team.
Bills at Jaguars, 1:05 p.m. ET, Sunday
In the first matchup on Sunday, the Bills will make their first playoff appearance since the 1999 “Music City Miracle.” They’ll visit the Jaguars, who haven’t made the playoffs since 2007 when David Garrard was their quarterback. Jacksonville opened as a 7.5-point home favorite but the line was bet down to 7 at most sports books. The total, meanwhile, hit the board at 40 but has dropped to 39.5 in what should be a defensive struggle. The over is 5-0 in the last five meetings between these two teams while the underdog is 5-2 against the spread in the last seven games in this series. The Bills, meanwhile, are 5-2 against the number in their last seven trips to Jacksonville while the road team has cashed in five of the last seven meetings.
Panthers at Saints, 4:40 p.m. ET, Sunday
The fourth and final matchup of Wild Card weekend pits division rivals against each other in the third installment of the series this season. The Saints opened as a 5.5-point home favorite but the line climbed to 6 at most sports books. New Orleans covered the spread in both games this season against Carolina, which is 0-6 against the spread in its last six games versus the Saints. The Panthers have also failed to cover in four of their last five games in New Orleans although the road team is 23-10 against the number in the last 33 meetings in this series and the underdog has cashed in six of the last seven meetings. The over, meanwhile, is 6-1 in the last seven games in this series and a perfect 4-0 in the last four meetings in New Orleans.
