Los Angeles Rams DFS Spin

Cam Akers doesn’t have an injury designation going into this weekend’s game against Seattle. Akers handled a hefty workload last week in his return from an ankle injury that sidelined him in Week 16. He had 25 touches against the Cardinals, while Malcolm Brown saw three carries and one target. Darrell Henderson (ankle) on IR means Akers is in for another starter’s workload against Seattle. His potential volume isn’t fully baked into his DFS price points in what is otherwise not a great running back matchup.

Seahawks DB Jamal Adams (shoulder) was left off the final injury report for the Wild Card Round. It’s a surprise after coach Pete Carroll strongly suggested on Tuesday that Adams would be a game-time decision against the Rams on Saturday afternoon. Adams is undoubtedly nowhere close to 100 percent healthy, but it was always difficult to believe he was going to sit. Alongside the tissue-thin schedule, Adams was one of the most important parts of the Seahawks’ second half defensive turnaround.

Rams vs. Seahawks Betting Prediction

The Rams are 4-10 against the spread in their last 14 trips to Seattle, while the home team has covered in 11 of the previous 16 meetings between these two teams. The Rams are also just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games following an ATS win and are 1-4 against the number in their last five games after allowing less than 15 points in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks have covered in four of their last five home games, are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games as a home favorite and have cashed in six of their last seven Wildcard games.
