According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, the NFC is favored to claim the Super Bowl victory over the AFC, as oddsmakers are giving the NFC odds of -1.5 points against the AFC winner for the big game. The over/under total is currently listed at 50.5 points. When it comes to a money line, oddsmakers have the NFC champ at -112, while the AFC has a line of +102.

The AFC crop currently features the New England Patriots, the Denver Broncos, the Indianapolis Colts and the Baltimore Ravens. All four franchises have won a Super Bowl since 1999. The NFC features the Seattle Seahawks, the Green Bay Packers, the Dallas Cowboys and the Carolina Panthers. Carolina has never won a Super Bowl while Dallas last won in 1996.

The NFC has won four of the last five Super Bowls and five of the last seven, including the last Super Bowl at University of Phoenix Stadium, where this year’s game will be held. The Ravens were the only AFC team to win in the last five years, with the Broncos, Patriots and Colts all losing in that span. The Packers also own a Super Bowl victory in the last five years.
