GREEN BAY, WI (The Spread) – Despite potentially losing receiver Jordy Nelson for the season, the Packers remain favored to win the 2016 Super Bowl.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the Packers are 11/2 favorites to win the Super Bowl this season, which were the same odds they had before playing the Steelers in a preseason game on Sunday. The Seahawks remain right behind Green Bay in terms of the odds, as they’re 13/2 to win the Super Bowl.

Nelson fell to the ground after planting his left leg to turn upfield on his second catch of the day on Sunday. He was able to walk to the locker room under his own power but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the team’s initial diagnosis was that Nelson tore his left ACL.

The Packers will now rely on Randall Cobb, Davante Adams, Jeff Janis and Ty Montgomery as Aaron Rodgers’ receivers in the passing game. It’ll be interesting to see if Green Bay’s Super Bowl odds fall once it’s official that Nelson will miss the entire regular season. He’s a huge piece of their offense.
