Green Bay Packers DFS Spin
Christian Watson (hamstring) will not play in Week 1 against the Bears. Watson popped up on the injury report with a previously unheard of hamstring issue on Wednesday. He did not practice to start the week and was held out of practice through Friday. Head coach Matt LaFleur said he’s viewing this as a week-to-week injury, but doesn’t sound like he’s concerned about it over the long run. Romeo Doubs is listed as questionable, though he was spotted getting some work in at practice on Friday. Assuming he plays, rookie Jayden Reed is likely to join him as the team’s top duo at receiver. With his biggest play-maker sidelined, Jordan Love’s first Week 1 start is already off on the wrong foot.
Chicago Bears DFS Spin
Bears TE Robert Tonyan (back) is questionable for Week 1 against the Packers. Tonyan is expected to serve a situational role for the Bears after the team extended Cole Kmet this offseason. Tonyan’s addition to the injury report is more a story as the Bears host his former team in the Packers in Week 1.

Packers vs. Bears Prediction:
Give me Green Bay. The masses think that since Aaron Rodgers is now a Jet that the Packers are going to fall on their faces. The reality is that they still have a pair of excellent backs in Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon, as well as an offensive line that is a top-10 unit. Will Jordan Love succeed? That remains to be seen and his job will be more difficult today without No. 1 receiver Christian Watkins, who is hurt. However, Love is not a rookie and Matt LaFleur can now run his full offense (complete with the bootlegs that Rodgers didn’t want to run over the last full seasons). Green Bay’s defense is also solid as well and while the group has its work cut out thanks to Justin Fields’ running ability, it remains to be seen whether or not the third-year pro has made progress as a passer. Just because the team added D.J. Moore in the offseason doesn’t mean Fields is suddenly Patrick Mahomes.
