Aaron Rodgers completed 27-of-33 passes for 327 yards and four touchdowns in the Packers’ 30-16, Week 4 win over the Falcons. Rodgers tossed 25 and 26 touchdowns each of the last two seasons, but he now has 13 scores and zero interceptions 25% of the way through 2020, putting him on pace for 52 touchdowns at the moment. He’s doing it without a healthy Davante Adams (hamstring) the last two weeks. And Allen Lazard (core) also missed this one, leaving Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Darrius Shepherd, Robert Tonyan, and Aaron Jones as Rodgers’ top pass catchers. Jones caught Rodgers’ first score from six yards out in the first quarter, and Tonyan caught the final three with 19-, 8-, and 21-yard scores. Rodgers is cooking right now headed into the bye and would be in the MVP mix if not for Russell Wilson and Josh Allen. Rodgers gets a tough Week 6 road draw against the Bucs

Tom Brady completed 25-of-41 passes for 253 yards and a touchdown in the Bucs’ 20-19, Week 5 loss to the Bears. Playing with a limited supporting cast and struggling to find this evening’s Nos. 1 and 2 wideouts, Mike Evans and Scotty Miller, Brady was a checkdown machine as the Bucs choked away what should have been an easy victory against a truly terrible Nick Foles. Walloped for three sacks and many more hits behind a penalty-prone offensive line, Brady was lucky to escape without any interceptions. The game ended on one of the worst mistakes of Brady’s career, as he took a reckless chance over the middle of the field. With the Bears celebrating, a bewildered Brady thought the play had occurred on third down. It was fourth, and Brady quickly stalked off the field to the locker room. Brady looked every one of his 43 years against one of the league’s best defenses. The good news is, his supporting cast now has 10 days to get healthy for next week’s showdown with the Packers. Things won’t be any easier against Za’Darius Smith and company. Brady will be more of a QB2 than QB1.

Packers vs. Bucs Betting Prediction

The over is 5-1 in the Packers’ last six games overall, is 4-1 in their last five games coming off a win and is 12-4 in their last 16 games when listed as a road favorite. On the other side, the over is 8-0 in the Bucs’ last eight games coming off a loss, is 8-1 in their last nine games as an underdog and 8-1 in their last nine home games. The capper: The over is 15-4 in Tampa Bay’s last 19 games overall. This marquee matchup should be a fun one throughout, filled with plenty of back-and-forth scoring throughout.
