According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cowboys are 4.5-point home favorites versus the Packers while the over/under is sitting at 52 points. Dallas opened as a 4-point home favorite before the line was bet up, while the total opened at 51.5 before climbing as well.

While he hasn’t officially been ruled out yet, it’s highly unlikely that Jordy Nelson suits up for the Packers on Sunday. He suffered broken ribs in the team’s Wildcard win over the Giants and he’s been sidelined at practice all week. Defensive back Quinten Rollins, meanwhile, was in pads on Thursday and it would appear as though that he’s cleared the concussion protocol. His return would be huge for a secondary that is severely banged-up.
The biggest injury concerning Dallas is left tackle Tyron Smith, who is slowly doing more work at practice after being limited on Wednesday. Smith is currently dealing with a knee injury that caused him to miss the regular season finale in Philadelphia. Cornerback Morris Claiborne, meanwhile, is expected to play after missing significant time with a groin injury.

The over is also 6-2 in the Cowboys’ last eight games after accumulating less than 150 yards passing in their previous game. With Aaron Rodgers as hot as he is, the Cowboys will have to score plenty despite their game-plan of running the ball and keeping Green Bay’s offense on the sidelines. This should be a great, tight game with plenty of scoring in the second half.
