Green Bay Packers DFS Spin
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Christian Watson (hamstring, questionable) will be inactive for Week 2 against the Falcons. Watson got in just one limited practice during the week. Considering his injury history, that was never going to be enough to get him on the field vs. the Falcons. It’s a massive loss for the Packers’ offense since Aaron Jones (hamstring) is also sidelined, not to mention a massive missed opportunity for sophomore Watson. Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed will pick up the slack in the passing game but neither are worth a WR3 dart throw.
Atlanta Falcons DFS Spin
Falcons LB Troy Andersen (concussion) will not play in Week 2 against the Packers. Andersen entered concussion protocol earlier this week and was unable to get cleared heading into the weekend. The hyper-athletic middle linebacker will miss at least one game with this injury, but try to make it back for Week 3 when the Falcons take on the Lions. Linebacker Nate Landman is expected to start in place of Andersen. Cornerback Jeff Okudah (foot) is listed as questionable for Week 2.

Packers vs. Falcons Prediction:
Give me the under. The Packers will be without Watson and Aaron Jones due to injuries and while he was without his No. 1 receiver last week in Chicago too, those are two big weapons missing for QB Jordan Love today. As for the Falcons, they live and die with their ball control offense, which limits opportunities for explosive plays but also drains the clock. While he didn’t turn the ball over, Desmond Ridder once again looked incapable of making plays in the passing game last week in the team’s win over Carolina. Despite having Kyle Pitts and Drake London at his disposal, Ridder holds the ball too long behind an offensive line that is outstanding in the running game, but struggles in pass pro.
