Panthers vs. Colts Week 12 Odds
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (The Spread) – In a game only a bettor could love, the Colts will host the Panthers at 1:00PM ET on Sunday.
CAROLINA: Despite building a 27-7 first-half lead, the Panthers squandered a potential win against the Lions in Week 11. Thanks to Cam Newton’s four interceptions and some brutal play by the Carolina defense, Detroit was able to rally and beat the Panthers, 49-35. That dropped Carolina’s record to 2-8 on the year and 5-5 against the spread as it failed to cover as a 7-point underdog. Newton still leads the team with 2,885 passing yards and nine total touchdowns.
INDIANAPOLIS: We’ll see if the bye week helped the Colts, who remain winless on the year at 0-10. Some have accused Indianapolis of tanking games in order to acquire the first overall pick in this year’s draft, which could be spent on Stanford’s Andrew Luck. With Peyton Manning out with a neck injury, the Colts will continue to struggle with Curtis Painter under center.
