NFL Week 4 Regular Season

Carolina Panthers DFS Spin

Panthers declare RB Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) out for Week 4 against the Cowboys. McCaffrey had no real chance of playing this week, as he deal with a multi-week hamstring injury he suffered in Week 3. The majority of his role will be handled by Chuba Hubbard with Royce Freeman mixing in. Hubbard flashed a similar snap share to McCaffrey in limited action last week. If he can play 75%+ snaps this week, Hubbard has significant upside in an offense that prioritizes targets to the running back position.

Dallas Cowboys DFS Spin

Dak Prescott completed 21-of-26 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns in the Cowboys’ 41-21, Week 3 win over the Eagles Monday night. The Cowboys pulled their starters off the field with a little over three minutes to play and a 20-point lead. Prescott was nearly flawless in this one, with his only blemishes being a lost fumble in the end zone recovered for a touchdown by Fletcher Cox in the first quarter and then a goal-line run that was stuffed for a turnover on downs at the one-yard line. It actually looked like he was in for the score, but the refs declined to overturn it. Prescott’s touchdowns were 19- and 22-yard hookups with Dalton Schultz sandwiched around a two-yarder to Cedrick Wilson, so neither of Amari Cooper (3-26) nor CeeDee Lamb (3-66) was heavily involved in the action. Prescott has now completed a pristine 77.5% of his passes through three games. He’ll be a QB1 next week at home against the 3-0 Panthers.

Panthers vs. Cowboys Betting Prediction

The favorite is 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams, while the Cowboys have covered in six of their last seven games overall. The Cowboys are also 4-1 against the number in their last five home games and are 4-1 against the spread their last five games coming off an ATS win.

NFL WEEK 4 BETTING PREDICTION: DALLAS COWBOYS -4
