Panthers vs. Seahawks Odds
SEATTLE, WA (TheSpread) – The Seattle Seahawks need a win in Week 13 of the NFL Season and there is no better team for them to face on Sunday than the Carolina Panthers.
The Seahawks are 5-6 on the year and 3-2 at home while Carolina is just 1-10 on the year and 0-5 on the road. Trends show that Panthers are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games against the NFC while the Seahawks are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games as a home favorite.

Opening odds had Seattle favored by 6 points but the spread has dropped all week, finally settling in at 4.5 points. The over/under total hasn’t changed since opening at 40.
Seattle has dropped four of their last five games, with all four losses having the Seahawks give up at least 33 points. On the year, Seattle is allowing 25 points per game while scoring just 19. Seattle allows nearly 400 yards per game including 278.6 passing yards per contest. Matt Hasselbeck has thrown for 2,392 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season to go along with nine interceptions.
Carolina has now lost five straight games, giving up at least 20 points in each game while scoring that many points just once on their side. On the year, the Panthers are averaging a league-low 12.7 points per game while allowing 25.1 per game. The Panthers also rank last in total offense, averaging just 259 yards per contest. Jimmy Clausen has thrown for 887 yards and one touchdown with five interceptions on the season for the Panthers.
In terms of injuries, Carolina quarterback Brian St. Pierre is questionable with an arm injury, which will force Clausen to be the starter. For Seattle, defensive tackle Colin Cole is doubtful with an ankle injury.
