Patriots the favorite in the AFC
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – The AFC Playoffs are packed with six legit contenders. Here is a look at the odds to win this year’s conference title.
The AFC playoffs feature the New England Patriots as the top seed while the Denver Broncos are the No. 2 seed. The Pittsburgh Steelers are the No. 3 seed and will host the No. 6 seed, the Baltimore Ravens, on Saturday. On Sunday, the fourth-seeded Indianapolis Colts will host the fifth-seeded Cincinnati Bengals.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, New England is the favorite to win this year’s conference title. The Patriots have been given 4/5 odds to win it all while the Broncos are next at 11/4. Other odds are Pittsburgh (15/2), Indianapolis (14/1), Baltimore (18/1) and Cincinnati (18/1).
New England was 7-1 at home this season, with the lone loss being on Sunday when it rested starters. They have wins over Cincy, Indy and Denver this season. The Broncos are 8-0 at home but 4-4 on the road and haven’t been playing too well the last month or so of the season. Pittsburgh could be the dark horse, as it has won four straight coming into the playoffs and has one of the top offenses in the NFL.
