Updated Super Bowl LI Betting Odds
And then there were four. What are the odds of the four remaining teams to win this year’s Super Bowl?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Patriots are the current favorites to win Super Bowl LI at 3/2 odds, followed by the Falcons at 11/5. The two underdogs aren’t big underdogs, as both the Packers and the Steelers have 4/1 odds, respectively, to win this year’s NFL title.
New England has put together another dominant season under Bill Belichick, compiling a 14-2 record despite not having Tom Brady (suspension) for the first four games of the season. The Patriots finished with the third-highest scoring offense in the NFL and was No. 1 in points allowed, surrendering just 15.6 per game. They also rank fourth and eighth, respectively, in total yards on offense and defense.

The Falcons won the NFC South Division with an 11-5 record and had the most prolific offense in the NFL. They averaged 33.8 points per game this season, which was tops in the league, and finished second in total yards per game (415.8), third in passing yards (295.3), and fifth in rushing yards (120.5). Matt Ryan isn’t a slam-dunk for the MVP award but he arguably had the best season of any quarterback in the league.
The Packers didn’t secure the NFC North title until Week 17 when they beat the Lions to finish the regular season with a 10-6 record. They’re one of the hottest teams in the league right now, winners of eight straight after narrowly upsetting the Cowboys in Dallas on Sunday. Aaron Rodgers is once again playing out of his mind and despite a slow start to the season, the Packers have as good a shot as any team in the final four of winning the whole thing.
The only team hotter right now than the Pack are the Steelers, who have won nine straight games including the last two weeks in the playoffs. Their offense ranked seventh in the league in total yards per game, was sixth in passing yards and 11th in scoring. They’re led by a three-headed monster in Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell offensively, but their young defense is also coming together at the right time. That said, they didn’t score a single touchdown in their 18-16 win over the Chiefs on Sunday night in Kansas City. They’ll need to fair better offensively this Sunday in Foxboro if they’re going to advance to the Super Bowl.
