New England Patriots DFS Spin
Patriots RB Damien Harris was listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against Buffalo. He’ll play barring anything unforseen, as the team has listed him with this ailment since it happened and Harris hasn’t sat out a game with it since Week 15’s Saturday night affair against the Colts. Harris will likely continue to cede some time to Rhamondre Stevenson and will be dependent on game script — with a high upside if he has it — in DFS.
Buffalo Bills DFS Spin
The Buffalo News’ Harry Scull, Jr. said the Bills have increased their use of a sixth offensive lineman. The team’s pass fell over the season’s final month as the Bills were seemingly determined to generate a rushing attack to complement the team’s productive passing offense. Against the Jets in Week 18, the Bills used a sixth offensive lineman on a season-high 15 plays. “That’s what you need,” Bills head coach Sean McDermott said. “That’s why it’s important to be two-dimensional or the threat of two dimensions on offense, running and passing.” Devin Singletary, taking 58 percent of the team’s carries in the regular season’s final month, has been the main beneficiary of a more balanced Buffalo offense. Josh Allen’s rushing production has seen an uptick too; he’s averaged 9.6 rushes per game since Week 14, up from 6.25 carries per game from Week 1-13. In Saturday night’s Wild Card game, look for the Bills to establish the run against a New England defense that’s more beatable on the ground than it is through the air.
