New England Patriots DFS Spin

Patriots CB Jonathan Jones (ankle) was ruled out for Week 4 against the Cowboys. Jones will miss his third straight game, leaving the Patriots secondary a little thin. LG Cole Strange (knee) was also downgraded to out for Week 4. Strange is a starter on the offensive line and the Patriots will need to fill that hole against the Cowboys in Week 4.

Dallas Cowboys DFS Spin

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports Cowboys LT Tyron Smith (knee) has been ruled out for Week 4. Smith was active as an emergency option in Week 3 against the Cardinals. Fellow offensive linemen Tyler Biadasz and Zack Martin got in limited practices, boding well for their chances to play this week. Smith, however, missed practice this week and the Cowboys now rule him out for Week 4 against the Patriots.

New England is 6-1 SU in its last 7 games when playing Dallas

The total has gone UNDER in 8 of New England’s last 10 games when playing Dallas

Dallas is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games at home

The total has gone OVER in 5 of Dallas’s last 5 games at home

Patriots vs. Cowboys Prediction:

Take the over. The vaunted Dallas defense that we saw in the first two weeks of the season looked rough last Sunday in Arizona. Was it a one week aberration? Perhaps, but the Patriots moved the ball when in their first two games (they got bogged down last week versus the Jets). Mac Jones and Dak Prescott have had their issues this season, specifically in the red zone. That said, both of these offenses have moved the ball well between the 20s. If each side can capitalize in the red zone, this score will sail over the total. If Prescott and Jones continue to turn the ball over in opponent territory, then we’ll be in trouble. I’m willing to roll the dice.

Patriots vs. Cowboys NFL Prediction: OVER 43.5
