Pats, Broncos open as Divisional favorites
Two matchups are set for the Divisional round of the NFL playoffs and unlike Wild Card Weekend, at least two home teams will be favored.

Chiefs at Patriots, 4:35PM ET
After they blasted the Texans 30-0 on Saturday afternoon, the Chiefs opened as a 5-point road underdog versus the Patriots for next weekend’s Divisional round matchup. But according to oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu, the number for this game has already dropped to New England -4.5. As for the total, it opened at 44.5 and that too was bet down, dropping to 43 points.
Steelers at Broncos, 4:40PM ET
With questions surrounding Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown and DeAngelo Williams’ availability following their come-from-behind win on Saturday night in Cincinnati, the Steelers have opened as 5.5-point underdogs versus the Broncos next Sunday. Roethlisberger is dealing with a right shoulder injury that required him being carted off the field versus the Bengals. He returned to lead the Steelers into field goal range but he clearly was affected by the injury because he could only complete short passes. Brown also exited the game late in the fourth quarter after suffering a nasty hit to the head from Cincinnati linebacker Vontaze Burfict, while Williams was ruled out for Saturday’s game due to an ankle injury.
Oddsmakers will release the spreads shortly after the conclusions of Sunday’s Wild Card Weekend. If the Seahawks beat the Vikings then they’ll travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers, while the winner of the Redskins/Packers game would play the Cardinals in Arizona. If the Vikings win, then they’ll play the Cardinals and the winner of the Redskins/Packers game would go to Carolina.
