The NFL Network and the rest of the Thursday Night Football crew will head to Lambeau Field this week as the Packers host the Eagles at 8:20 p.m. ET. With the total listed at 45.5, what’s the best play for bettors when it comes to the over/under?
Game Snapshot

Public Betting Trends
According to our NFL Football Public Betting Chart page, the Packers are receiving 66% of the betting tickets from online sportsbooks.
Philadelphia Eagles Fantasy Spin
DeSean Jackson (abdomen) is expected to miss Thursday’s game against the Packers. “He’s probably a little further away,” coach Doug Pederson said of Jackson in relation to Alshon Jeffery’s healthy. “He’s probably not gonna be there this week.” Jackson has reportedly been battling the issue since training camp. A Week 5 return should not be taken for granted.
Green Bay Packers Fantasy Spin
Aaron Jones (shoulder) was upgraded to “full” in Tuesday’s practice. The Pack were just limiting Jones’ reps on a short week. Jones is coming off a week of concerning usage, but it is more likely Jamaal Williams’ Week 2 involvement goes down an aberration as the “new normal” in the Packers’ backfield. Even for a tough matchup with the Eagles’ defensive line, Jones maintains low-end RB1 appeal for Week 4.
NFL Betting Trends
Philadelphia
The under is 4-0 in the Eagles’ last four road games but the over is 35-17 in their last 52 games coming off a loss.
Green Bay
The under is 4-0 in the Packers’ last four conference games and has cashed in nine of their last 13 games overall.
Prediction
No team in the NFL has more takeaways through the first three weeks of the season than the Packers. Mike Pettine’s defense already has eight takeaways in three games and while they haven’t faced a Murder’s Row of quarterbacks to this point (Mitchell Trubisky, Kirk Cousins and Joe Flacco), it’s clear that this unit has improved. The Eagles enter Thursday night in similar form as last Sunday: Banged up on offense. They haven’t been in sync since the second half of their Week 1 win over the Redskins and I expect their offense to struggle again on Thursday. The under is 7-1 in the last eight meetings between these two teams and is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Green Bay.
NFL Week 4 Prediction: Eagles/Packers UNDER 45.5
