Public betting soundly with the Cardinals -7.5 vs. the Packers tonight

Packers vs. Cardinals Betting

After a dominant win over the Green Bay Packers less than a month ago, do the bettors expect the Arizona Cardinals to roll again in tonight’s NFL Division Playoff Game?

According to oddsmakers at RealBets, Arizona is favored in this playoff game, as the Cardinals are getting odds of -7.5 points against the Packers. The over/under total for the game has been set at 49.5 points. These two meet tonight at 8:15PM ET on NBC.

The public betting for this contest is behind the Cardinals, as Arizona is currently getting 61 percent of the wagers as a 7.5-point home favorite against the Packers tonight. Arizona comes into this game at 9-7 against the spread while the Packers are 10-7 ATS. It’s certainly hard to ignore the Dec. 27 meeting between these two when Arizona earned a 38-8 victory over the Packers at home, outgaining Green Bay by a 381-178 total in yards.

The Packers are coming off a 35-18 road win against the Redskins in last week’s playoff game where they seemed to find something on offense that had been missing for a few weeks. It was their first 30-point performance since a 30-20 win over the Raiders on Dec. 20. Arizona is actually coming off a 36-6 thrashing at the hands of the Seahawks in Arizona on Jan. 3. The Cardinals had something to play for as well, so it wasn’t a matter of them resting talent. Their last taste of success was against GB three weeks ago. Will that be an issue?
