Raiders vs. Browns Odds
Despite winning last week with Johnny Manziel versus the Titans, the Cleveland Browns will go back to Josh McCown as their starting quarterback when they host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday at 1PM ET on CBS.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Browns are the slight favorite at home, as they are getting odds of -3.5 points against the Raiders. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 41.5 points. Cleveland has won six of its last eight against Oakland and the Browns are 7-1 against the spread in those eight games. These two have hit the under in four straight meetings.
Cleveland is 1-1 on the season, 1-1 against the spread and 2-0 with the over. After a 31-10 loss to the Jets on the road in the opener, the Browns bounced back last week with a 28-14 win at home over the Titans. Cleveland was outgained by Tennessee 385-274, but the Browns forced three turnovers in the win. Manziel went 8 of 15 passing for 172 yards with two touchdowns, both of which were over 50 yards to Travis Benjamin. Isaiah Crowell added 72 rushing yards with a touchdown while Armonty Bryant had 2.5 sacks and six tackles to lead the defense.
Oakland is 1-1 overall, 1-1 against the spread and 2-0 with the over as well. The Raiders lost their opener at home, 33-13, to the Bengals, but they bounced back last week with a 37-33 win over the Ravens at home. Oakland is now averaging 357 yards per game on offense, but giving up 444.5 yards per game on defense. Derek Carr has led the offense with 412 passing yards and three touchdowns while Latavius Murray has rushed for 109 yards and Amari Cooper has 12 catches for 156 yards.
