SAN DIEGO, CA (TheSpread) – The San Diego Chargers seem to be catching fire while the Oakland Raiders are cooling off as the two meet on Sunday at 4:05PM ET.
San Diego is 6-5 on the season and 4-1 at home while Oakland is 5-6 on the year while going just 1-4 on the road. Trends show that Oakland is just 4-11 against the spread in their last 15 games against the Chargers while the over has hit in 4 of the last 6 games between these two teams.

San Diego has won four straight including a 36-14 win over Indianapolis last week on the road. The Chargers have scored at least 29 points in their last four games and held opponents to just 14 points over the last two weeks. The Chargers have one of the top offenses in the league as they average 407.5 yards per game, led by quarterback Philip Rivers, who has thrown for 3,362 yards and 23 touchdowns on the season.
Oakland has lost two straight coming in to Sunday, with both coming by at least 16 points. The Raiders have struggled when they haven’t been able to run the ball effectively. On the season, Oakland averages 139.7 rushing yards per game. Darren McFadden has led the team on the ground, as he has rushed for 773 yards and four touchdowns.
In terms of injuries, Oakland quarterback Bruce Gradkowski is a game-time decision with a shoulder injury while cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha is questionable with an ankle injury. San Diego receiver Vincent Jackson is doubtful to play with a calf injury.
