Jacksonville is 7-5 on the season and 4-2 at home and hold a ½ game lead on the Colts in the South standings while Oakland is 6-6 overall and 2-4 on the road. Trends show that the Jaguars have covered the odds in their last five games while the Raiders have failed to cover the spread in their last seven Week 14 games.

Opening odds had Jacksonville favored by 4.5 points. The odds moved up to 5 during the week before falling back to 3.5. The over/under total opened at 43 points and was as low as 42 before settling at 42.5.
Jacksonville is 8-4 against the point spread odds this season and the Jags have hit the over in 8 of 12 games as well. The Jaguars have won four of their last five games and their last two at home. The Team has been playing well as of late because of Maurice Jones-Drew, who has rushed for over 100 yards in his last five games and now has 1,117 yards rushing on the season. The Jags are averaging 21.4 points per game on offense but still giving up 25 points per game on defense.
Oakland has covered the point spread odds in 6 of 12 games and hit the over in 7 of 12 this season. The Raiders are coming off a 28-13 win at San Diego last week to sweep the season series against the Chargers. Oakland has now won four of its last six games in total. The Raiders have performed well due to a rushing attack that averages 149 yards per game. Leading the way is Darren McFadden, who has 870 rushing yards and five scores on the year.
In terms of injuries, Jacksonville receiver Mike Sims-Walker is expected to return from an ankle injury that has sidelined him for a few games while Oakland linebacker Rolando McClain is questionable with a foot injury.
