OUR PREDICTION: The Raiders were a chic pick to win the Super Bowl in pre-season but they have a ton of defensive issues. They’ll start fifth-round pick Marquel Lee and second-year player Tyrell Adams at linebacker today, plus first-round pick Gareon Conley will see a lot of playing time despite being sidelined since June. That’s three players on Oakland’s defense that have yet to play a down in the NFL. Meanwhile, the Titans were sluggish this preseason but the expectation should be that they win the AFC South. Maroita is a breakout candidate and their new weapons in the passing game (Eric Decker, Corey Davis) should feast on the Raiders’ secondary.
