So which Beckham prop plays offer the most value? Let’s start off with a popular prop play: His total number of receiving yards. With 113 yards receiving against the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game and 69 yards against the Bucs in the Divisional round, Beckham has gone over the 62.5-yard number in back-to-back games.
That said, do you know how many times Beckham went over that number in his 11 games with the Rams? Four. Granted, he had to learn the playbook coming over for Cleveland and get used to both Sean McVay as a play-caller and Matthew Stafford, his new quarterback. Still, even if we cut that number down to his last five games, Beckham still only eclipsed 62.5 receiving yards twice. If you want to assume he’s finally found his role in this offense and he’ll do what he did the last two weeks, fine. But I’m playing the odds and take the UNDER 62.5.
I’ll be doing the same when it comes to his total receptions prop. In his last five games, Beckham has averaged 5.20 receptions, going over his reception total just twice. While both of those games came in his last two contests, I’ll again play the odds and take his UNDER 5.5 RECEPTIONS.
