Los Angeles Rams DFS Spin
Matthew Stafford completed 26-of-38 passes for 295 yards and three scores in Los Angeles’ Week 13 37-7 blowout win over the Jaguars. The Rams endured another dreadful start in the first half, going 0-for-6 on 3rd down and seeing Stafford complete 13-of-22 passes for 139 yards, connecting with Ben Skowronek (1/35) as his leading receiver. The tides turned out of the locker room as Cooper Kupp took over with a 43-yard gain on the Rams’ second play in the third quarter and 4/99/1 total in that 15-minute stretch. Stafford also connected with Van Jefferson (6/41/1) and Odell Beckham (2/28/1) for touchdowns before being rested in the fourth quarter. The veteran quarterback notably left for one play after a hard tackle in the second half but returned quickly. Snapping their three-game losing streak in this one, the Rams travel to Arizona for a crucial divisional showdown under the lights in Week 14.
Arizona Cardinals DFS Spin
Kyler Murray completed 11-of-15 passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns in the Cardinals’ 33-22, Week 13 win over the Bears, adding 10 rushes for 59 yards and two additional scores. Making his first start since Week 8 as he returned from a high-ankle sprain, Murray’s 10 carries were a new season high for a player who appeared to be 100 percent healthy. Murray did have trouble throwing the ball in rainy, windy conditions, losing his grip multiple times. He fumbled two snaps/hand-offs, but the Cardinals thankfully recovered both. Murray also helped prove DeAndre Hopkins’ good health with his best throw of the day, a 20-yard touchdown strike in the first quarter where only body-control maestro Hopkins could get it. Murray looked dangerous with his legs, with his rushing scores coming from nine and three yards out. Headed back to domed Arizona for Week 14, Murray will have a stiff divisional test in the Rams.
