Los Angeles Rams DFS Spin
Rams placed WR Cooper Kupp on injured reserve. Kupp has been dealing with multiple hamstring ailments, the second of which occurred just last week. The team sent him to a specialist in Atlanta to see if the recurring hamstring injuries were associated with his tightrope surgery from last season, but we have received little information regarding the outcome of that visit. With the placement on injured reserve, Kupp will now miss a minimum of four games and will look to return for Week 5 against the Eagles. Expect tight end Tyler Higbee be serve as the primary pass-catcher for as long as Kupp remains out, with Van Jefferson, Ben Skowronek, and some combination of Tutu Atwell and Puca Nacua likely to receive additional looks as well.
Seattle Seahawks DFS Spin
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (wrist) will have “no limitations” in Week 1 vs the Rams. The rookie practiced fully this week and wasn’t listed on the final injury report. Smith-Njigba is expected to have a full workload less than a month removed from wrist surgery. The missed practice time still makes a high target share unlikely in his debut.

Rams vs. Seahawks Prediction:
Give me the points. I know the Rams will be without Cooper Kupp, who was placed on injured reserve on Saturday due to a lingering hamstring injury, but they still have Sean McVay, Matthew Stafford and Aaron Donald. This team isn’t completely devoid of talent and it’s well coached, plus it gave the Seahawks problems last year. Geno Smith deserved the contract extension that he received in the offseason. He finally has found a home in Seattle, which has an excellent receiver corps and a decent running game. However, Smith had issues with turnovers in the second half last season and I think the defense is more smoke and mirrors than a unit capable of helping the Hawks win the NFC West. I think this game will be tighter than most expect.
