Flacco out, Ravens underdogs vs. Browns
Joe Flacco suffered a torn ACL and possibly a torn MCL in the fourth quarter of the Ravens’ victory over the Rams on Sunday.
Flacco suffered the injury on Baltimore’s game-winning field-goal drive late in the fourth quarter. Even though he could barely walk following the game, he stayed in to spike the ball in ordre to set up Justin Tucker’s game-winning kick.
The Ravens quarterback will now miss the remainder of the season and with the injury happening late in the year, his availability for training camp next summer is in doubt. Matt Schaub will take over under center for the Ravens, who visit the Browns on Monday night.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Browns are 2.5-point favorites over the Ravens while the total currently sits at 41 points. Johnny Manziel will start for Cleveland.
