Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens pretty easily slid by the Steelers 28-14. Pittsburgh had no answer for the Baltimore run game. Derrick Henry rushed for 186 yards and 2 touchdowns on 26 carries. Lamar Jackson ran for 81 yards. He also completed 16 of 21 pass attempts for 175 yards and two touchdowns. With Zay Flowers sidelined, Isaiah Likely led the way with 53 yards. 7 different players ended the game with a reception. The defense had 4 sacks. Zay Flowers is currently listed as doubtful. John Harbaugh said he has a chance to play, however Flowers hasn’t practiced all week.
Buffalo Bills
The Bills hosted the Denver Broncos in the Wild Card round and won 31-7. The Broncos struck first with a deep touchdown pass and had a chance to tie the game going into halftime but missed the field goal. On 4th down with the score at 13-7 midway through the third quarter, Josh Allen hit Ty Johnson in the back of the end zone for a touchdown. The game was over after that. Josh Allen finished with 272 yards and 2 touchdowns and he rushed for another 46 yards. James Cook added 120 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The defense didn’t have any turnovers but held the Broncos to 224 total yards.

Take the over in this matchup. I feel inspired by this Commanders vs. Lions game. Hopefully the Ravens and the Bills are inspired as well. Let’s see the best players in the NFL on the best teams in the NFL be great. Buffalo and Baltimore rank 2nd and 3rd in points per game, each scoring over 30 ppg. Both teams are led by MVP front runners in Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson who are just as good with their legs as they are with their arms. These two have combined for 69 passing touchdowns, just 10 interceptions, and 16 rushing touchdowns.
Derrick Henry rushed for 199 yards in the first game between these two early on in the season. The temperature in Orchard Park on Sunday night will be in the teens with a feels-like temp in the single digits. We will see how committed this Bills team is to get in front of and tackle a freight train in frigid temps. Both teams are in the lower half of the league in opponent yards per pass attempt. I think we end the divisional round of the playoffs with a fun high scoring contest between two of the best teams in the league.
