Baltimore Ravens DFS Spin
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said J.K. Dobbins (knee) is “kind of back on track.” Dobbins, who was recently activated from the PUP, was held out of Baltimore practices over the weekend after participating in two practices last week. “He looked good,” Harbaugh said, adding Dobbins — coming off an ACL tear in 2021 — is in an “evaluation” period. “He’s kind of back on track, and I thought he looked a little better than he did before. So, he continues to improve, and we’ll see where it goes.” The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec said the team is “hopeful” Dobbins can suit up for Week 1 against the Jets, though there are “no guarantees” he’ll be ready to return from his major knee injury. The Ravens’ penchant for favoring veteran backs (see Latavius Murray and Devonta Freeman in 2021) could mean Mike Davis serves as the team’s primary back to start the season. Gus Edwards (ACL) isn’t expected to be ready for the season opener.
Arizona Cardinals DFS Spin
The Arizona Republic’s Bob McManaman reports Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury wants Rondale Moore “more fully utilized across the offense” this season. Kingsbury acknowledged Moore was frustrated about his lack of usage in the Arizona offense after DeAndre Hopkins’ season-ending injury in 2021. “All of a sudden his role got minimized more than he anticipated, yeah. I felt the frustration and rightfully so,” Kingsbury said. “He’s a tremendous player. We had a lot of great wideouts last year. I’m big on addressing the problem right there, so you don’t let it fester. … “We had some difficult conversations, but he’ll get his opportunities this year.” The “great” receivers Kingsbury referred to include A.J. Green and Antoine Wesley, both of whom out-targeted Moore in the final seven weeks of the 2021 regular season. Deployed strictly as a gadget player over the season’s last couple months, Moore saw nine total targets over his final three games before missing Week 16-18 with an ankle injury. Moore during training camp has been used on the outside, in the slot, and out of the backfield. Whether that usage holds up when games count is another question entirely. Hopkins’ six-game suspension could create some early-season opportunities for Moore, who is only interesting in PPR formats.

Ravens vs. Cardinals Prediction:
This is the time of year to back the Cardinals. November, December and January when the rubber really meets the road? Hell no. August, September and October before the expectations are truly high? Sign me up for some Cardinals. Just look at last week: Arizona hung 36 points on the defending AFC title champs the Bengals in a meaningless preseason game. Now the Cardinals are 6-point home dogs for a night game against another AFC playoff contender in the Ravens tonight. I expect Kingsbury’s best effort tonight – give me the points.
