Baltimore Ravens DFS Spin
Mark Andrews (shoulder) will not play in Week 9 against the Saints. Isaiah Likely will step in as the main tight end for a weapons-starved Ravens passing attack. Andrews will get two weeks off as Baltimore’s Week 10 bye will hopefully get his shoulder right for the rest of the season. With Rashod Bateman done for the season, both Likely and Devin Duvernay should be showdown slate staples on Monday night.
New Orleans Saints DFS Spin
Saints CB Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) is out for Week 9 against the Ravens. Lattimore will miss his fourth consecutive game in Week 9, which has opened up snaps for Paulson Adebo and Alontae Taylor on the perimeter. One the of the most glaring outcomes from Lattimore’s absence has been the unwillingness of the Saints defense to alter their defensive approach, playing from man coverage at almost exactly the same rate without Lattimore as they were with him in the lineup. That has led to some back-end struggles over the previous three weeks, ceding big games to Ja’Marr Chase and DeAndre Hopkins before holding a sick Davante Adams to zero catches last week. Consider Lattimore’s absence a boost to the tattered Ravens’ pass-catching corps in Week 9.
