New Orleans Saints DFS Spin
Alvin Kamara (personal/quadriceps) returned to practice on Friday. Kamara missed the first two practices of the week with a personal issue, though a quad injury was mysteriously added to his injury report on Thursday. After returning to practice on Friday, Saints coach Dennis Allen said Kamara will play in Week 17. Facing a Philly defense that has been more susceptible on the ground than through the air this year, Kamara will rank as a strong RB2 option.
Philadelphia Eagles DFS Spin
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports “there’s a possibility they play Jalen Hurts in Week 18,” even if the Eagles win versus the Saints in Week 17. A win versus the Saints this week will give the Eagles the No. 1 seed in the NFC and a first-round bye to start the playoffs. They would have nothing to play for in Week 18. Garofolo notes that Philly would be playing Hurts “to make sure he’s not idle for more than a month heading into their first playoff game.” It’s possible they give him a few series in Week 18, but a full four quarters for a player dealing with a serious shoulder injury would be a hilariously risky choice by the Eagles. Despite Garofolo’s report, it’s safe to assume we have seen the last of Hurts in the regular season unless Nick Sirianni tells us otherwise.
