Can bettors expect another low-scoring game between the Cardinals and Seahawks when the NFC West rivals clash at 4:25PM ET on Saturday?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Seahawks are 7.5-point home favorites versus the Cardinals while the over/under currently sits at 43 points. Both the side and the total have moved off the original number posted by oddsmakers, with the over/under dropping from 44 down to 43 and the spread going from 7 up to 7.5.
The Cardinals have dropped back-to-back games and four of five overall. They’re coming off a 48-41 defeat at the hands of the Saints in Week 15, which was somewhat surprising given how well their defense has played all season. At 5-8-1, Arizona is out of the playoff hunt and at 4-10 against the spread, the Cardinals have been a poor bet at the window this season.
The Seahawks rebounded from their 38-10 loss to the Packers in Week 14 by thumping the Rams 24-3 last Thursday night in Seattle. The win clinched the NFC West for Seattle, which is 9-4-1 on the year and currently holds the No. 2 seed in the NFC. The Seahawks also covered as a 15-point favorite and now are 8-6 at the betting window in 2016.

OUR PREDICTION: When these two teams met in October, both offenses struggled mightily in a 6-6 tie down in Arizona. While there should definitely be more points scored between these two teams on Saturday, I still like the under, which is 6-2 in the last eight meetings between these two teams in Seattle. The under is also 5-1 in the Seahawks’ last six divisional games and is 6-1 in the Cardinals’ last seven games versus division rivals as well. Arizona doesn’t have anything to play for but Bruce Arians’ squad would love nothing more than to hand Seattle a loss and potentially force the Seahawks to play in the wild card round, as opposed to having that weekend off.
