SEATTLE, WA (The Spread) – The Seattle Seahawks look to earn home-field in the NFC playoffs for the second straight year on Sunday when they host the St. Louis Rams at 4:25PM ET.

Seattle is coming off a 35-6 win over the Cardinals last week. It was the Seahawks’ fifth-straight win and pushes them to 11-4 on the season. Seattle can win the NFC West and earn the top seed in the NFC playoffs with a win on Sunday. The Seahawks are 8-6-1 against the spread for the season and 4-0-1 ATS in their last five. Seattle has hit the under in four of its last five as well.

St. Louis is coming off a 37-27 loss against the Giants at home. The Rams have lost two straight at home to fall to 6-9 on the season. St. Louis is 7-8 against the spread on the year, failing to cover in two straight. Prior to that, the Rams had covered in four straight games.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Seattle is the overwhelming favorite in this game, as the Seahawks are getting odds of -13 points against the Rams on Sunday. The over/under total for the game has been set at 41 points (View Matchup). The home team has won and covered the spread in five of the last six in this series, including a 28-26 win for St. Louis back on Oct. 19.

In the first meeting, the Rams pulled out a few tricks to pick up the win, running a fake punt and a trick play on a punt return to setup both touchdowns. St. Louis was actually outgained 463-275 in total yards by the Seahawks, but still found a way to win. Russell Wilson threw for 313 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 106 yards and a score to lead Seattle. Marshawn Lynch was held to 53 rushing yards on 18 carries.
