Seattle Seahawks DFS Spin
Seahawks S Jamal Adams (knee) will not play in Week 2 against the Lions. Adams avoided the PUP list to open the season but is still going to miss another week after sitting out of Seattle’s opener versus the Rams. He returned to practice for some light work this week, so it’s possible he is back in action next Sunday.
Detroit Lions DFS Spin
Lions coach Dan Campbell said RB Jahmyr Gibbs’ low snap count in Week 1 vs the Chiefs was by design. “He’ll begin to get more touches now, so that was just the beginning last night.” The Lions easing in Gibbs in his debut wasn’t a surprise, but it was surprising to see David Montgomery dominate the backfield with a 79% snap rate. Watching Montgomery felt like a repeat of 2022, when Detroit gave 260 carries and 50+ red-zone chances to Jamaal Williams. There were positive takeaways for Gibbs, who was a play away from scoring, but the lack of usage was stunning for a first-round pick. The history of first-rounders still projects a Gibbs takeover, with every running back since 2019 making double-digit starts. Gibbs bulls need to HODL as we wait out the next few weeks.

Seahawks vs. Lions Prediction:
Give me Seattle. The Seahawks beat the Lions 48-45 in Detroit last season, which was the highest scoring game in the NFL in the last four seasons. Seattle has won five straight and eight of nine versus the Lions, which includes the playoffs, since moving to the NFC in 2002. I’m not a huge fan of the Hawks this season, as I don’t love their defense from top to bottom and I don’t think Geno Smith can duplicate what he did a season ago. That said, in what could be a shootout today at Ford Field, I’ll gladly stuff the 4.5 points in my back pocket.
