Seattle Seahawks DFS Spin
Geno Smith completed 27-of-37 passes for 328 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception in the Seahawks’ 40-34, Week 12 loss to the Raiders. Smith added five carries for 22 yards. As has often been the case this year, Smith and the Seahawks started hot but failed to keep the momentum going in the second half. Seattle scored on five of their first seven drives excluding a kneel-down before halftime. Then they scored seven points over their final five drives. That included a three-and-out in overtime when they only needed a field goal to secure the win. The good news for Seattle is that they face a downtrodden Rams squad in Week 13. Smith will rank as a low-end QB1 once again next week.
Los Angeles Rams DFS Spin
Rams placed QB Matthew Stafford (concussions) on injured reserve. The move all but assuredly ends Stafford’s season in what amounts to a lost season. He would technically be eligible to return to action in Week 17 for the team’s final two games, but the question arises as to why the team would bring him back with the team out of playoff contention. His season likely ends with just 2,087 pass yards, 10 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
