Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks have officially been eliminated from the playoffs this season. And after watching their 6-3 game against the Bears last Thursday night, I think I speak for everyone when I say we are okay with that. Geno Smith completed 17 pass attempts for 160 yards. Zach Charbonnet took 15 carries for 57 yards. The defense had an interception, 7 sacks, and 10 tackles for loss against an abysmal Bears offense. Although this is a meaningless game, Geno Smith has a lot of money on the line. He needs 186 pass yards for a $2 million dollar bonus and a win in this game would give him another $2 million dollar bonus.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams will most likely be resting most of their offense in this matchup. Matthew Stafford, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua, and Cooper Kupp are all currently listed as doubtful. Also, on the offensive line Rob Havenstein has been ruled out and Kevin Dotson and Alaric Jackson are listed as doubtful. The one and only Jimmy Garopplo will be under center for the Rams. In his last season with the Raiders, he completed 65% of his pass attempts for 7 touchdowns and 9 interceptions with a QBR of 34.7.

Seattle is 5-0 SU in their last 5 road games

The UNDER is 6-1 in Seattle’s last 7 games against the Rams

Los Angeles is 5-0 SU in their last 5 games

Los Angeles is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games against Seattle

Seahawks vs. Rams Prediction:

Take the Seahawks to cover the 7 point spread in this matchup on Sunday afternoon. The Rams won’t be playing any of their key skill position guys and will be down a few men on the offensive line. Jimmy G won’t have a lot to work with out there. Seattle’s defense has played well lately and is ranked 11th in points allowed per game and should be able to slow down the Rams. The Seahawks do have motivation to play well here to get their quarterback those bonuses. Look for them to end the season on a positive note.

Seahawks vs. Rams Prediction: Seahawks -7
