Seattle Seahawks DFS Spin
Russell Wilson completed 22-of-31 passes for 343 yards and two touchdowns in the Seahawks’ 33-30, Week 2 loss to the Titans. Wilson’s two scores were both long deep balls to Tyler Lockett from 63 yards out and then Freddie Swain on a 68-yard bomb. He also rushed three times for 16 yards. Wilson has a pristine 6:0 TD:INT mark through two weeks and looks like he’s loving new OC Shane Waldron’s up-tempo offense that allows Wilson to push the ball down the field more often. Wilson and the Seahawks draw the Vikings in Week 3 where Wilson will be a top-six QB1.
Minnesota Vikings DFS Spin
Dalvin Cook (ankle) is questionable for Week 3 against the Seahawks. Mike Zimmer’s comments earlier in the week seemed to indicate that Cook will be in for a full workload if he can go. If so, Cook will be set up for a big week in a high total game, despite his injury risk. If Cook is ruled out, Alexander Mattison becomes very interesting, though there is risk that he loses receiving work to Ameer Abdullah. The Vikings play in the late afternoon window, so fantasy managers will need to have a contingency plan in place in case Cook is ruled out on Sunday.
NFL Week 3 Betting Prediction
The under is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams in Minnesota, is 12-5 in the Seahawks’ last 17 games as a road favorite and is 7-3 in their last 10 games as a favorite. The under is also 44-19 in the Vikings’ last 63 games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game and has cashed in five of their last seven games as a home underdog.
