Pittsburgh Steelers DFS Spin
Diontae Johnson (hip) isn’t on Pittsburgh’s final injury report for Week 5 against the Bills. When Johnson told reporters that he’d be good to go, he was not fibbing. The talented fourth-year receiver was limited in practice on Thursday but bounced back to a full practice on Friday. Because of how impressive Buffalo’s pass defense has been this year, he’s probably best viewed as a WR3 for Sunday.
Buffalo Bills DFS Spin
Bills placed WR Jamison Crowder (ankle) on injured reserve. This was always a foregone conclusion after Crowder broke his ankle in the Bills’ Week 4 victory over the Ravens. His timetable for a return to action is not yet known, although it is highly likely he misses the remainder of the season. In the meantime, expect expanded roles for Isaiah McKenzie (should he make it through the league’s concussion protocol) and rookie Khalil Shakir, particularly for as long as tight end Dawson Knox also remains out.
