Pittsburgh Steelers DFS Spin
Jordan Schultz reports Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada will have “a more prominent role working with QB Kenny Pickett” going forward. It sounds like Schultz will be taking on some of the quarterback coach’s duties in addition to his offensive coordinator gig. Per Schultz, Canada will continue to call plays. Canada has been bemoaned by fans for his stagnant offense, so this may not be the news Steelers backers were hoping to read this morning. On the bright side, things can’t get worse for Pickett right now. He ranks last in the NFL in EPA per dropback and is averaging 4.7 adjusted yards per pass attempt. Something clearly needs to change in Pittsburgh, though putting more on Canada’s plate may not be the answer.
Las Vegas Raiders DFS Spin
Raiders DL Chandler Jones has been placed on the non-football illness list as he deals with a personal issue. Jones made headlines over the weekend by posting disturbing allegations on his social media about him discovering harm being done to a girl he’s fostering. There’s no indication of what is going on with Jones, and the Raiders have publicly stood by him and stated that they welcome him back “if his situation improves.” Until more comes to light, it seems safe to assume that Jones could be away from the team for a while.

Steelers vs. Raiders Prediction:
The Steelers don’t have an offense. They can’t run the ball, they don’t protect Pickett and Canada’s play designs are shaky. The Raiders didn’t do anything last week in Buffalo to give you confidence. That said, if Pittsburgh’s defense doesn’t score touchdowns, how will the Steelers score? They needed two defensive touchdowns on Monday night just to beat Cleveland. Banking on that sort of production out of your defense every week isn’t good.
