Steelers vs. Ravens: Will Kamar Aiken be targeted often by Baltimore?

Aiken to outshine Brown?

The Pittsburgh Steelers have plenty of big receivers, but will Kamar Aiken steal the show for the Baltimore Ravens in today’s clash?

View NFL Odds

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Pittsburgh is heavily favored in today’s game, as the Steelers are getting odds of -10 points against the Ravens. The over/under total for the game has been set at 47 points. These two meet today at 1PM ET on CBS.

Aiken has had a nice breakout year in his third season with the Ravens (4-10, 3-9-2 ATS). The Central Florida product has caught 62 passes this season for 802 yards and five touchdowns, all of which are career-highs by a large margin. With the season-ending injury to Steve Smith, Aiken has stepped up in the second half of the season. For today’s game against the Steelers (9-5, 8-5-1 ATS), Aiken has been given an over/under of 5.5 receptions and 78.5 receiving yards.

Aiken has had at least 79 yards in four games this year, but three have come in his last four games. He also has at least 6 catches in three of his last four games and in five games for the season. Aiken could have a big game today as the Steelers rank 31st in the NFL in pass defense, allowing 279.1 yards per game in the air. They have also allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing receivers and the most receiving yards. In the first meeting between these two, back on Oct. 1, Aiken had five receptions for 77 yards with a touchdown, but that was prior to his increased role in the offense.
