Pittsburgh Steelers DFS Spin
Ben Roethlisberger (pec/shoulder) returned to practice Tuesday. Roethlisberger was estimated as sidelined on Monday but got in a full session the following day. He’ll be available, for better or worse, on Thursday night against the Vikings as a low-end QB2.
Minnesota Vikings DFS Spin
Adam Thielen (ankle) is out for Week 14 against the Steelers Thursday night. The high-ankle sprain and short week was just too much to overcome for Thielen. With the veteran wideout sidelined, look for Justin Jefferson to command double-digit targets while K.J. Osborn picks up most of the slack as the third or fourth option on offense behind Jefferson, Dalvin Cook/Alexander Mattison, and perhaps even Tyler Conklin.
Thursday Night Football Prediction
The Steelers are 35-16-3 against the spread in their last 54 games as an underdog, are 13-5 against the number in their last 18 games as a road underdog and are 4-1 ATS in their last five games versus an opponent with a losing home record. On the other side, the Vikings are 0-6 against the spread in their last six games as a home favorite, are 1-9 against the number in their last 10 games as a favorite either home or away and are 2-7 at the betting window in their last nine games as a home favorite.
