Will MIN turn to Diggs vs. GB?
Stefon Diggs has emerged as a top receiver for the Minnesota Vikings this season. Will he have another big game tonight against the Green Bay Packers?
According to oddsmakers at RealBets, Green Bay is a slight favorite tonight, as the Packers are getting odds of -3 points against the Vikings. The over/under total for the game has been set at 43.5 points. These two meet tonight at 8:30PM ET on NBC.
Diggs, a fifth round pick in last year’s draft, has been one of the best rookie receivers in the NFL this season for the Vikings (10-5, 12-3 ATS). Today Minnesota hopes to win the NFC North title if it can get a win over the Packers (10-5, 9-6 ATS) in Green Bay. Diggs has had 51 receptions this season for 712 yards with four touchdowns while appearing in just 12 games.
Diggs had a decent showing against the Packers when these two met on Nov. 22, as he caught six passes for 66 yards in a 30-13 loss at home to Green Bay. For tonight’s game, the oddsmakers have listed Diggs’ over/under total at 57.5 receiving yards and 4 receptions. Diggs and Minnesota are going up against the 13th-ranked pass defense in GB, which is giving up just 236.7 yards per game through the air. Diggs has had at least 58 yards in five games this season and at least 4 catches in seven contests. If the Vikings can’t get Adrian Peterson established today, look for them to air it out toward Diggs.
