Steelers vs. Chiefs Week 12 Odds
KANSAS CITY, MO (The Spread) – The NBC Sunday Night Football matchup will feature conference rivals the Steelers and Chiefs tonight at 8:20PM ET.
PITTSBURGH: The Steelers went into their bye last week having won five of their last six games. Their only blemish over the past six weeks came in a 23-20 loss to the Ravens in which they couldn’t defend 90 yards on Baltimore’s final offensive possession. Ben Roethlisberger, although banged up with a thumb injury, leads the team with 2,877 yards while Rashard Mendenhall has a team-high 517 rushing yards and six touchdowns.
KANSAS CITY: The Chiefs have a long road ahead without quarterback Matt Cassel, who was placed on injured reserve on Monday. Tyler Palko started under center against the Patriots on Monday night and while he did move the ball at times, he finished with three interceptions on 25-of-38 passing and no touchdowns. The Chiefs have failed to generate offense the past few weeks and probably won’t find much success against Pittsburgh either.
