According to oddsmakers at RealBets, the latest odds currently have the Panthers as a 5.5-point favorite against the Broncos tonight. The over/under total is now listed at 43.5 points. These two meet tonight at 6:30PM ET from Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. The game will air live on CBS.

The public betting for this game is backing the Panthers despite the lofty spread. Of the public wagers on Super Bowl 50, 65 percent are going on Carolina to cover against the Broncos tonight.

Covering has been something Carolina has been good at, as the Panthers are 13-5 against the spread in their 18 games while the Broncos are just 9-8-1. The public probably has concerns over the Denver offense while the Carolina defense has been on fire, creating a number of turnovers and scoring in the process. One thing to note is the Panthers have been a favorite of 4.5 points or more seven times during the year and they are just 3-4 against the spread in those games. Denver has been an underdog just four times this season and the Broncos are a perfect 4-0 against the spread as an underdog.
