Super Bowl LI Odds 3/8/15 – Eagles trading DeMarco Murray to the Titans

Murray being traded to Titans

DeMarco Murray’s time with the Philadelphia Eagles is over, as the team has elected to trade him to the Tennessee Titans on Monday.

Murray’s agent confirmed the trade which reportedly will alter Murray’s contract. It is unclear at the time what the Eagles will be getting back in return. Murray agreed to a 5-year, $40 million deal last season but struggled under Chip Kelly, rushing for just 702 yards and six touchdowns. In 2014, Murray rushed for a league-best 1,845 yards and 13 touchdowns as a member of the Cowboys.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Eagles are currently listed with 60/1 odds to win Super Bowl LI and 30/1 odds. The Titans are currently listed with 60/1 odds to win the Super Bowl as well and 30/1 odds to win the AFC Championship. You can see more NFL Futures Odds by clicking the link.

Tennessee didn’t have a great rushing attack, finishing with just 1,485 yards as a team. Antonio Andrews was the leading rusher with 520 yards while QB Marcus Mariota had 252 yards on the ground.
