Updated Super Bowl LI Odds
The 2016 NFL Draft has now concluded. How did the draft impact the odds to win the Super Bowl next season?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the New England Patriots have now emerged as the favorite to win Super Bowl LI, as they have 15/2 odds. The other short odds to win are the Seattle Seahawks (9/1) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (10/1).
The Patriots didn’t have a first round pick but they still had nine total selection in this year’s draft. The team added CB Cyrus Jones with their first selection, No. 29 in the second round. They then added NC State guard Joe Thuney, NC State QB Jacoby Brissett and Nebraska DT Vincent Valentine in the third round.

Seattle had 10 selections in this draft, including five in the first three rounds. The team addressed the O-Line off the bat by taking Texas A&M tackle Germain Ifedi in the first round. Alabama DT Jarran Reed was selected in the second round and then the Seahawks addressed the offense in the third round with Notre Dame RB C.J. Prosise, Ohio State TE Nick Vannett and Boise State guard Reeds Odhiambo.
The Steelers had seven selections in the draft and their early picks were used on improving the defense. They took Miami DB Artie Burns in the first round and then selected Maryland safety Sean Davis in the second. SC State DT Javon Hargrave was their third-round pick.
