Broncos trying to lock up Miller
The Denver Broncos are attempting to get Von Miller a new contract before the season, as the two had a phone discussion on Friday.
ESPN.com provided some new details on the contract talks between the two.
“The Broncos recently modified their offer to Miller and would fully guarantee the third year of their proposed six-year, $114.5 million contract, which would begin in March 2017. The matter of how much, and how quickly, Miller would be paid in guaranteed money in a new deal has been a sticking point between the sides.”

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the defending Super Bowl champs are currently listed with 16/1odds to win the Super Bowl in 2017. Denver is currently listed with 7/1 odds to win the AFC Championship while their over/under total for wins to 9.
Miller is coming off winning the Super Bowl MVP when he had six tackles and 2.5 sacks with 2 forced fumbles in the game. He had 5 sacks for the postseason and also had 11 sacks for the regular season. In his five-year career, Miller has 60 sacks with the Broncos. He was part of a dominant defense that carried Denver to the championship last season.
